Nihar Info Global Limited

Reaching Amazon customers faster

Nihar Info Global Limited has successfully onboarded and operationalized the Amazon InterState Xpress Delivery (IXD) Program, marking a significant milestone in the company’s logistics and supply-chain expansion strategy.

Amazon IXD Program: The Amazon Inter-State Xpress Delivery (IXD) Program is an advanced logistics initiative aimed at improving fulfilment efficiency and customer experience through: Simplified and cost-effective logistics via a single weight-handling fee structure, faster inter-state delivery timelines, and smart inventory placement enabled by automated algorithms based on regional demand patterns.

Eligibility under the IXD Program requires sellers to maintain GST registrations in a minimum of three states, including the home state. “This development aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of leveraging technology-enabled platforms to strengthen market presence and enhance operational efficiencies,” said Divyesh Nihar, MD, Nihar Info Global Ltd.

MULTI-STATE GST

In line with the eligibility criteria and as part of its pan-India expansion strategy, Nihar Info Global has established Virtual Principal Places of Business (VPPOB) and obtained GST registrations in the following states: Telangana, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier, the company operated with only 2 warehouses. Post IXD onboarding, the inventory is now distributed across 20+ Amazon and Flipkart fulfilment centres in these states.

With IXD enablement, the company is eligible to store inventory across a dynamic and expanded network of Amazon fulfilment centres, as determined by Amazon’s automated IXD allocation algorithms. This enables inventory positioning closer to end-customers, improving delivery efficiency.

COMMENCES OPs

The company has successfully completed all onboarding formalities, has been enabled on the Amazon IXD platform, and has commenced dispatch of inventory to multiple fulfilment centres. The company’s product portfolio includes: Home & Kitchen and Consumer Electronics products, including home sewing machines, of various leading brands.

This move strengthens pan-India logistics and distribution capabilities, improves delivery speed and customer satisfaction, enhances inventory optimisation and logistics cost efficiency, and supports scalable growth in the e-commerce segment.
