Analysts Predict Robust Q4 Earnings for HDFC Bank, TCS, and Infosys

As the earnings season approaches, market analysts are anticipating strong fourth-quarter results from three major Indian companies: HDFC Bank, TCS, and Infosys. The quarter ended on March 31, and the companies are set to release their financial results this week.

HDFC Bank Expected to Report YoY Rise in Profit

Elara Securities predicts that HDFC Bank will report a YoY rise in profit of 24.4%, from Rs 10,055 crore in Q4 last year to Rs 12,507 crore in the same period this year. The bank's net interest income is expected to rise by 28.2% YoY to Rs 24,204 crore, thanks to strong business momentum, including higher than estimated loan and deposit growth.

Emkay Global expects the bank's net interest margin to rise by 5 basis points QoQ to 4.3%. It anticipates healthy profitability for HDFC Bank, led by NII growth and contained provisions. The bank's slippages are expected to decrease QoQ due to lower stress from its agri portfolio. Emkay Global expects HDFC Bank's Q4 profit to come in at Rs 12,037 crore, a 19.7% YoY increase.

Infosys Set to Release Quarterly Numbers on Thursday

Infosys will release its Q4 results on Thursday, April 13. The company is expected to report strong revenue growth driven by a surge in demand for digital services. Its cloud-based services, cybersecurity offerings, and artificial intelligence solutions are also expected to contribute to its Q4 earnings.

Shares on investor's watchlist next few days

The Q4 earnings results of HDFC Bank, TCS, and Infosys are highly anticipated by market analysts, with the companies expected to report robust growth. HDFC Bank is expected to report strong growth in its net interest income, while TCS and Infosys are expected to benefit from the growing demand for IT services and digital solutions. Investors and analysts will be eagerly awaiting the release of these companies' quarterly results in the coming days
